Loot Islands give nearby players the chance to collect loot that would otherwise be very difficult or impossible to find. They are only available from the middle of the game. Although these are different concepts, Combat Caches, as well as Cold Blooded Medallions, also work the same way as Islands.

None of these options will be accessible from the start of the game, and they will appear on the battle royale island once the first circle of the storm has begun to close.

Once a loot island has been attached to the island, a marker will appear on the player's map.
