How to get iron man zero in fortnite -  A new Iron Man skin appears to have leaked for Fortnite, but it may have some unique context behind its release. Marvel and Epic Games have a unique partnership that has been going on for years. 

That association has led to a significant number of skins from Marvel properties being released in Fortnite, as well as major in-game events. It's no surprise that a new Iron Man skin is coming to Fortnite, but this one's relationship to the ongoing Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic makes it unique.

 

Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War is the first full comic book collaboration between the two companies. Marvel referenced an ongoing Fortnite event in various comics in 2020, but Zero War takes the association to a whole other level. 

Not only do Fortnite and Marvel characters appear in Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War, but purchasing the individual numbers provides rewards that can be claimed in Fortnite. The final issue of the crossover is expected to drop next week, on September 28.

The Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War crossover is important because the leaked Iron Man skin is called Iron Man Zero. The mask features a bulkier Iron Man suit, with a helmet that can be opened to reveal the usual Iron Man helmet inside. Included in the Iron Man Zero Cracked Pack is a Repulsor Pack back bling, a Bladed Gauntlet pickaxe, and a Zero War Frontlines loading screen.

Ever since the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comic was announced, Marvel has promised that those who purchase all five issues of the comic miniseries will receive a special skin, which has yet to be revealed. It makes a lot of sense that Iron Man Zero would be that skin. However, that has not been confirmed. It is very possible that Iron Man Zero is just a related skin. Either way, it should be available for sale through the Fortnite store eventually.

Those interested in the rewards provided through the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War crossover can pick up all five issues at their local comic shop or peruse through Marvel Unlimited beginning September 28. Rewards include a Spider-Man skin, an Iron Man weapon wrap, a Wolverine pickaxe, a Zero War spray, and a Zero War loading screen, as well as the bonus skin yet to be confirmed.

It would be easy for Marvel and Fortnite to continue releasing skins of various superheroes and villains and make huge profits from it. That the collaborations continue to go to the extra level, tying in with the game in Fortnite and the Marvel comic, keeps the collaboration fun and interesting. It's still wildly profitable, but it helps make what fans buy feel that much more valuable. Expect official news on the Iron Man Zero skin soon.
