The Kinetic Blade is a purple weapon that deals incredible damage and has access to a charged sword strike that knocks other players back.

Kinetic Blade appears randomly on the map in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, however there are some places where you can find multiple Kinetic Blades without relying on an RNG. Our favorite is Kenjutsu Crossing to the southeast of the map, but you can constantly find them in any Japanese-themed area to the south of the map.

When you get to the Kenjutsu crossing, go to the big pagoda (the multi-story building in the landmark and the biggest building in the area). On the bottom floor of this building, there are several kinetic blades on sword racks in the large central room.

How to take down players with the kinetic blade?
 

After getting the kinetic blade in Fortnite, press the aim button (left trigger on console, right mouse button on PC). This initiates a kinetic blade attack that knocks back enemies on impact and smashes through walls and barriers in front of you. After using it, it goes off on a short cooldown, so be careful not to waste it.

The hitbox is relatively large as long as you are targeting another player at close range, when you initiate a charged attack it will hit normally.
