Bounties are challenges that require players to hunt down opponents and eliminate them for a gold bullion reward. In previous seasons, you could take on bounties from NPCs, but in Season 8 they are exclusive to bounty boards.

There are several reasons why you might need to find a bounty board. Maybe you have a Punch Cards quest that asks you to start a bounty, or maybe you want to earn some gold bars to buy the latest exotic weapons.

Fortunately, there are quite a few bounty boards in Fortnite Season 8, meaning you shouldn't have to travel far to find one. However, they are not marked on the map, so you will need to know where to look. We've got you covered.

You can visit any of these locations to start a bounty, but if you're looking to complete one and earn gold bars, you're better off choosing one near the center of the map or near a busy location.

How to complete bounties using bounty boards in Fortnite

Once you've found a bounty board in Fortnite, you can interact with it to start a player bounty, where you'll be required to find and eliminate a specific player before the timer runs out for a reward of 75 gold bars. gold and some XP.

The player you are targeting will appear on the map as a yellow circle, but you will only see the general area they are in. This means you'll still have to search a bit to find it, but the marker will get more accurate over time.

Player rewards end when your target is eliminated or the reward timer runs out. If another player kills your target, you will still get some gold bars (albeit in a smaller amount) and all quests involving rewards will be completed.

You will not be punished if a player reward times out before your target is eliminated, but you will lose any gold bars you would have earned.
