How to unlock or Heavy Runic Attack God of War Ragnarok

There are two types of Runic Attacks. One is called Light Runic Attack and the other is called Heavy Runic Attack. As soon as players receive Light Runic Attacks after the game starts, Heavy Runic Attacks require a lot more work to be unlocked.

Besides being a reward that you will receive in a story-related chef fight, the only other way to unlock Heavy Runic Attacks is by finding them. The only place that these attacks can be found is inside two Chests of Legends.

Legendary chests are spread across all the Kingdoms, and each one of them contains many useful and powerful rewards for the players of God of War Ragnarok. A complicated part about these Storage Boxes, not so much, is that they are likely to pass unperceived.

There are 14 Heavy Runic Attacks in total divided between the Machado Leviatã, the Lâminas do Chaos and the Lança Draupnir. With the exception of two Heavy Runic Attacks for Lança Draupnir, all other Heavy Runic Attacks are found in Lendários Baus.

As well as Light Runic Attacks, Heavy Runic Attacks can be improved. Instead of using resources like Hacksilver, Heavy Runic Attacks can be upgraded with XP. As no example above, Mists of Helheim can be upgraded with 3,250 XP. The second and last update for this Heavy Runic Attack is 9,000 XP.
